Early Purchase Option (EPO)
Rental Alto Saxophones are $1200+tax before any Early Purchase Discount is applied. At any time after you make the first rental payment and if all payments have been made on time, you have the option to receive an additional 30% off the cash price of the instrument minus any rental payments that have been made within the first year of this rental agreement. SMC and/or late fees do not apply toward the EPO.

If you are renting a used instrument, you may buy a new student level instrument of the same type and with a price equal to or greater than the cash price of the instrument you are renting within 1 year after the date of this agreement. All rental payments made will apply toward the new instrument.

Maintenance and Repair
Bill’s Music is responsible for maintaining the instrument in good working condition while it is being rented, except for any damages caused by you or your student’s willful act or negligence. If the instrument is damaged or otherwise needs repair due to your or your student’s negligence or willful or wanton misconduct, renter agrees to pay Bill’s Music a minimum repair fee of $49. Bill’s Music’s repair obligation does not include the finishes, cases, strings, speakers, reeds, drum sticks, drum heads, bow hair, rosin, bridges, brass and woodwind mouthpieces, neck straps, ligatures and caps. ALL REPAIRS MUST BE DONE BY A TECHNICIAN THAT BILL’S MUSIC APPROVES.

Security and Maintenance Coverage (SMC)
Security and Maintenance Coverage (SMC) is optional but recommended. It costs $4 per month in addition to your regular monthly rental fee of $19.95 per/mo. Under the SMC, Bill’s Music will be responsible for maintaining the instrument in good working condition while it is being rented. Renter will be responsible for all shipping charges to send instruments in for repair and Bill’s Music will cover shipping costs to send the repaired instrument back to the renter.

Liability for Loss or Damage
Renter is responsible for loss, theft, or destruction of the instrument from all causes, including fire, except normal wear and tear, while it is in renter’s possession. Renter is liable for the lesser of the fair market value of the instrument or the Early Purchase Option price on the date of loss.

Termination of Rental Agreement
Renter may terminate this agreement at any time by returning the instrument to Bill’s Music, Inc. in good condition, fair wear and tear excepted upon expiration of rental term and payment of any past due payments. All original issue accessories such as strings, mouthpieces, drum pads, sticks, instrument parts and bows must be returned with the instrument, or renter will be billed for such accessories. Renter is responsible for all shipping charges involved in returning rental instrument to Bill’s Music, Inc.

Default
If you fail to make a rental payment within 15 days of its due date, or fail to observe any other term in this Agreement, you are in default and at the option of Bill's Music, Inc., this Agreement will terminate. You must immediately return the instrument to Bill's Music, and any rental credit earned will be voided and you must pay Bill's Music all you owe. If you default, and after Bill's Music gives you any notice required by law, Bill's Music is entitled to all legal remedies, including repossession and our damages. If you default, you must pay Bill's Music for all reasonable costs of collection which may include a $50 repossession fee, a 20% third party debt collection fee, late invoice fees and a $15 third party administrative collection fee plus any other court costs and/or legal fees, as permitted by law. These amounts are in addition to any unpaid rental payments to the date you return the instrument to Bill's Music.

Late and Other Fees
A late fee of $5 per month, not exceeding $15, on payments not received within 15 days after the due date. Returned Check Fee: $35.00

Interest
There is no interest, no finance charge, no annual percentage rate and no rental service fee associated with this agreement.
